Stuart Hartman is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of invaluable experience in the housing and healthcare industry including 33 years at Retirement Housing Foundation.
Established in 1961, RHF is one of the largest nonprofit developers and operators of Affordable Housing and Healthcare communities in the U.S. With 188 communities and more than 19,000 units in 29 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Prior to becoming RHF’s President & CEO, Mr. Hartman was RHF’s Sr. VP of Operations for Housing, Healthcare, Acquisitions, and Development.
As the CEO, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in leading successful teams and driving strategic growth. Stuart’s extensive experience and exceptional track record have established him as a trusted leader within the industry. His unwavering commitment to excellence, combined with his keen business acumen, has consistently delivered impressive results for our organization. With a deep understanding of our organization’s values and vision, Stuart continues to inspire and guide our team toward continued success.
He is the licensed real estate broker for the Corporation’s two real estate management companies. He has a National Assisted Housing Professional- Executive designation.
Over his career, he has held positions on the Board of Directors and Committees for various organizations including Peppermint Ridge, LeadingAge, and SAHF. He has spoken on multiple topics over the years including “Nursing Home Mortgage Insurance Evaluating Risks” for The National Mortgage Banker Association, “CEO Succession” for Ziegler, and “Affordable Housing” for CHHSM.
