Tina Robinson joined Retirement Housing Foundation in 2001 as a temp and was hired on permanently as a Staff Accountant in November of 2001.
She rose through the ranks in the Affordable Housing Accounting Department from Senior Accountant to Supervisor, to Manager, and then to Director as she became more familiar with compliance requirements and restrictions associated with HUD 202 (Low-Income Housing for Elderly program), PRAC (Project Rental Assistance Contracts) and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program).
In 2023, she was promoted to Vice President of Housing Accounting.
She manages a department of 16 team members and oversees the accounting, audit, and compliance requirements of 160 HUD and tax credit communities across the country, generating revenue of over $146 million. She coordinates audit compliance testing and annual internal controls walkthroughs.
Prior to RHF, she worked for a CPA firm in Culver City for nine years, Korney & Korney, and prepared monthly financial statements and quarterly payroll tax and sales tax returns for multiple clients ranging from property management, entertainment, legal, manufacturing, and restaurant industries.
Ms. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach.
