Immanuel Residences for the Elderly is located in Evergreen Park, Illinois bordering the south side of the city of Chicago. This community sits directly across the street from Immanuel United Church of Christ and is in close proximity to public transportation, two major hospitals, numerous grocery and drug stores, and a recently opened Carson’s department store.
The nearby Evergreen Park Office of Citizen Services provides low-cost mini-bus transportation to banks, shopping, doctor and dentist appointments, barber and beauty shops and can accommodate individuals with wheelchairs and special equipment.

We have four two-bedroom units, 14 one-bedroom units and six efficiency units.
Do I have to pay utilities?
Heat is included in the rent but the resident is responsible for electricity. Telephone and cable TV is also the resident’s responsibility.
Do you accept pets? Is there a deposit for my pet?
Immanuel Residences does not allow pets at this time.
Are there storage lockers available for residents to use? Is there a cost?
Each apartment has a designated storage locker that is free to use.
