Opened in November 2010 and located in the Westlake district, the 53-unit building, known as the Bonnie Brae Apartments, consists of one, two, three, and four-bedroom floor plans.
The property was funded using Transit Oriented Development Funds (“TOD”), as well as multiple other funding sources. It was the first building completed in the State of California using TOD funding. The location is ideal for tenants. The Red Line McArthur Park stop is located within a quarter-mile and all tenants receive a transit pass free of charge.
Designed in the Spanish style, the 6-story structure adds an element of sophistication and elegance to the surrounding area. Bonnie Brae features ample open space consisting of a second-floor courtyard and a 1,000 square foot community terrace overlooking the area with views of Downtown Los Angeles. The building also provides for a fully furnished Community Room. Each of the units is individually wired for high-speed Internet.
