Cimarron Court

Cimarron Court is an affordable, older adult (62+) independent living community. There are six studios, 17 one-bedroom apartments, and two minimal-barrier units for those 18+ with mobility impairment.

We are located in a vibrant community with beautiful city parks, unique shopping areas, several restaurants, and numerous medical facilities. Public and private transportation provides front door service. The Senior Center is a few blocks away in Yanney Park. It serves weekday lunches and has many daily activities for people 50 years and older.

We work with area agencies to provide supportive services to tenants who require minimal assistance to remain living in their own homes, such as Meal on Wheels, Commodities, and home health providers.

Our community actively participates in RHF’s Project H.A.N.D.S.

What type of housing is Cimarron Court? Is it low-income housing?

Cimarron Court is a subsidized housing community, meaning rent is approximately 30% of a person’s income and the age requirement is 62 years of age or older or have a verifiable disability.

Is there a waiting list for residency?

Yes, Cimarron Court has a waiting list. Please call for the approximate waiting time.

What is the Security Deposit?

The Security Deposit is the same as one month’s full rent. This deposit is due in full at the signing of the lease.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, pets are allowed. Please call and a copy of our pet policies and procedures can be sent to you.

What is the Pet Deposit?

The pet deposit is a one-time payment of $150.00. We can make payment arrangements for this deposit. Beginning with $50 and then a monthly payment of $10 until the deposit is paid in full.

Is there additional storage space available?

There is no additional storage available, however, each apartment offers a large amount of storage space.

How many keys do I receive?

Residents receive an apartment key, a key to a locked mailbox for their apartment, a key to the community room.

Are there on-site laundry facilities?

Yes, our laundry room is open from 7:30 am until 9 pm.

Am I able to have a washer and dryer of my own or a deep freeze?

There are no washer or dryer hookups for the apartments and, therefore, are not allowed.
